Few 3D printed Battletech vehicles

 This week I only have a few small pieces. These were 3D printed by a friend who will use them as light hover tanks in Battletech games.

Steel Wolves

 This week i have a formation of Steel Wolves. It is a star of five mechs plus a support hover tank.

I painted these for Omar, he gave me a bunch of mechs to paint and some 3D printed hover tanks with no real plan on how to paint them.

We are slowly deciding and for this batch we went for a Steel Wolves scheme that I saw on a FB Battletech group.

It is a simple, but unusual paint scheme.

 This is four fifths of a star in a Nova Cat urban camo scheme that I painted for Omar.

Battletech Clan Smoke Jaguar Nu Galaxy

 This is a star of mechs I painted for Gian to use in our current clan invasion campaign.

We are playing Clan Smoke Jaguar campaign against the Draconis Combine, so I chose a nice Smoke Jaguar colour scheme, specifically Nu galaxy.

Battletech mercenaries

 This week we have 5 Battle mechs from a mercenary unit, I did these for my friend Omar who uses them at tournaments. 

He asked for 5 mechs to have some flexibility when choosing his tournament force.

Battletech infantry and a couple of mechs

 These are the latest Battletech minis I finished for my gaming group, it is nice to be playing Battletech again in Italy with the people I got in the game with.

We had half of a big game yesterday, a classic 3050 clan invasion scenario on the outskirts of Luthien between Clan Smoke Jaguar and the Draconis Combine.

These miniatures didn't take part in the game, but might get involved in future ones.

 This is the last chunk of mechs I have done for Gian, some of them are refurbishments, others were painted from scratch.

I'm done with this project for now, but more Battletech minis will come for sure.

Here we are again

 The move to Italy is (mostly) done and, even if I was not planning to paint any more figures for others, I failed and the first model I painted at all was for someone else.

My old time friend Gian (AKA Lord Gian), needed a model for a demo game at a convention, his regular painter is momentarily unavailable, so it was on me to paint it.

Considering most of my modelling supplies are still en route from Canada, I had to do with what I had available, so the result is not that great, but it worked well for the game (last weekend), so I consider it a success.

This is one of the original C.A.V. range from Reaper (I think) that Lord Gian used for Battletech as a super heavy 200 tons monster.

The torso is a solid chunk of resin and the limbs and weapons are metal.

I opted for a very basic military green scheme with a couple of decals to make it a little less boring.
