Last part of the Star Wars lot painted

These are the last figures I had to paint for Max, the rest of the starter set will be painted by himself and Doyle, so my job is done.

I didn't mind painting them they are nice figures, if a little on the big side for my taste.

The storm trooper was an experiment, the idea was to spray paint it with a gloss white and then use Tamyia panel liner for the shadows, but the spray can I used was probably bad because it didn't dry properly and the paint re-activated when in contact with the panel liner, so I ended up sealing it with matt varnish and then highlighting it with white paint, not a great result, but I salvaged it decently.

Star Wars legion part 2

The second part of the Star Wars commission is done, I only have a few more models to complete the whole commission.

Star Wars Legion

 Recently Max bought a starter set of Star Wars Legion with a few extra figures. We tried the game once and it seems to be pretty good, so we might play that for a while, all the younger players are big Star Wars fans, so they enjoyed the game for that reason too.

I agreed to paint a few models to start, the characters and vehicles, the others should take care of the troops.

These are the first two models painted.

 This week a couple of simple RPG models.

The goblin was an experiment, I wanted to make sure I could safely use Army Painter Quick Shade on Reaper Bones figures, the answer is: yes.

This means I can get unimportant figures done quickly and cheaply.
